Wilma Eilene Myers, 84, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2008, following a one year illness. Mrs. Myers was born in Byesville, Ohio on June 13, 1923, the daughter of Ernest D. and Blanche (Blackburn) Watson. Wilma moved to the local area when she was two and was a 1941 graduate of Springfield Local Schools. Wilma was a homemaker. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death on March 1, 1992 by her husband Homer E. Myers, whom she married on November 14, 1947. Wilma is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Beverly (Gary) Chuey of New Springfield; one son, Mr. Gene (Marilyn) Myers; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Ann (Lorenzo) Timmeney of Burke, VA and Mrs. Patty Jean (Ralph) Mayer of Chestertown, MD; one brother, Mr. Robert (Jean) Watson of North Lima; two grandchildren, Melissa and B.J. and four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nicholas, Sara and Garrett. Wilma was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Jones; two brothers, David Watson and James Watson; one infant brother, Harold Watson and one infant sister, Roberta Watson. A private graveside service will be held for the family. There will be no calling hours. The family sends a special thank you to Cheryl, Wilma's nurse at the Hospice House.
