Box 281 North Lima, Ohio 44452 330-549-2231 Zane "Butch" Johns, 63, of 34 Blue Lantern Dr. Salem, Ohio, passed away on Friday afternoon February 9, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic, following a two year illness. Mr. Johns was born on June 8, 1943 in Brookville, Pennsylvania, the son of Harold and Avanell Bish Johns. Butch moved to the local area in the 1970's. He owned and operated Granite Construction of North Lima since 1972. Mr. Johns was a member of the Paradise Lutheran Church in Canfield. He was a member of the Warren Youngstown Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association. Butch was a golfer and liked to travel, vacation and spend time with friends and family. Mr. Johns was survived by his wife, Lisa VanHoose, whom he married June 17, 2006. Other survivors include his mother Avanell Johns of Kittaning, Pennsylvania; a daughter Mrs. Kandice Harmon of Poland; three sons Zane Michael Johns of North Lima, Mark Johns of Virginia and Brian Porada of Struthers; five sisters Mrs. Jane Sikora of Poland, Mrs. Sonja Rozman of North Lima, Mrs. Norman (Beverly) Gray of Kittaning, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Joyce Johns of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Mrs. Tom (Mary) Freeman of Brandon, Florida; a brother Larry and his wife Marlene Johns of New Castle, Pennsylvania and twelve grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Paradise Lutheran Church in Canfield with Pastor Alex Hilliard officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Paradise Lutheran Church in Canfield.
