SALEM – Betty L. Wince, 83, of Salem, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, August 13, 2024.
Betty was born on June 16, 1941, in Green Township, a daughter of Ralph and Esther (Kenreigh) Moore. A Greenford High School graduate, she married Thomas P. Wince on September 16, 1961. Betty enjoyed canning, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and cutting grass. She also enjoyed baking, cooking, sitting on her front porch, and spending time with her family.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband of almost 63 years, Thomas; her four sons Ralph (Chris), David (Debbie), Tim (Amanda), and Matt (Laura); two sisters Ruth Dawson and Barbara (Jerry) Kerstin; brother Robert (Sue) Moore; nine grandchildren Thomas Wince, Jennifer Wince, Rebecca Fox, Wade Wince, Emmalee Wince, Olivia Wince, Braxton Wince, Brinlee Wince, Matthew Wince; and six great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Betty’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or memorial services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
