COLUMBIANA – Bruce Duncan MacLellan, 80, of Lisbon passed away Sunday afternoon, December 7, 2025, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana, with his wife beside him.
Bruce was born on May 29, 1945, in Youngstown, a son of William Duncan and Marion (Wite) MacLellan. A Liberty high school graduate, he entered the US Navy in 1965. He married the former Deborah Jo Rupert on May 28, 1991.
Bruce was employed by Ohio Bell (now AT & T) as a lineman. He loved the outdoors - walking in the woods with his dogs, fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also enjoyed cutting wood.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife of 34 years, Deborah Jo of Lisbon; his granddaughter Aliyah Westfall, and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Jake Westfall, and half siblings Amy Harrison, Olive MacLellan and Earl MacLellan.
Per Bruce’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Bruce’s memory to Lake Mount Church of Christ, 6290 OH-7, New Waterford, OH 44445 or Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, OH 44406.
The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
