David E. Causer, 75
NORTH LIMA – David E. Causer, 75, of North Lima, passed away Thursday evening, January 30, 2025 at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana.
David was born on May 11, 1949, in Mesa, AZ, a son of the late Francis and Naomi (Gummo) Causer. A Struthers High School graduate, he went on to attain an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. He served in the Navy; two years on the USS Farragut and two years at the Pentagon working under the Joints Chiefs of Staff. He later worked at RMI Titanium Plant in Niles and TIMET plant in Toronto, OH, where he was a part of the managerial staff. David, a past president of the Men’s Garden Club in Youngstown, enjoyed fishing, gardening and sports. He also loved his dogs.
David leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife, the former Paula Huzicko, whom he married in February 1970 and his two sons Mark Stephen (Denise) Causer of New Middletown and Matthew David Causer of Struthers.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Sharon Louise Causer.
Per David’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
