Donna Kay (Schoolcraft) Bell

COLUMBIANA – Donna Kay Bell, 81, of Columbiana, passed away Monday morning, May 13, 2024, at Mercy Health Center in Boardman surrounded by her children.

Donna was born on March 3, 1943, in Wood County, West Virginia, a daughter of Harvey Edward and Lillian Gay Valentine Schoolcraft.   She was a 1961 graduate of Parkersburg (WV) High School.  Donna attended Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, where she met her husband.  She married Samuel Adam Bell on July 21, 1962.   

Donna was a member of the Columbiana Church of the Nazarene for over fifty years.  She was very active in the church, serving as secretary of the church and church board and the prayer contact liaison.  Donna enjoyed life and loved sharing her love for the Lord and Savior.

Loved ones left behind to cherish Donna’s memory are her children Timothy W. Bell of Madison, OH; Anita D. (Jarvis) Weaver of Archer City, Texas; grandchildren Jeffrey R. (Mallory) Bell, Timothy A. (Shayna) Bell, Jacob M. (Jake) Arkwright, Kirstin O. (Daniel)  Arkwright Landers, Kaleb D. Arkwright, Brooke L. Arkwright, Jarvis D. Weaver II, Gabraella E. (Kyle) Quach, Julian O. (Taylor) Weaver, Grace C. Weaver; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters Judith (James) Matheny of Elizabeth, WV and Bonnie (William) Grimm of Leetonia. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sam, who passed away May 9, 2019, her daughter Linette S. Walton who passed away August 7, 2013, and brother David Wayne Schoolcraft. 

Memorial services will be conducted by Pastor Jan Winnale on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Columbiana Church of the Nazarene 330 N. Elm St, Columbiana, OH 44408.
