Franklin B. Pierson

East Palestine – Franklin B. Pierson, 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Christian House in East Palestine.

Franklin was born on October 25, 1932, in Sutton, West Virginia, a son of Roy L. and Della Rose Pierson. He moved to Warren in 1951, and married the former Wanda J. Robinson on August 30, 1952. The couple moved to Columbiana in 1983. Franklin worked at the Packard Electric in Warren in the Shipping and Receiving Department for 32 years.

He and his wife enjoyed travelling together, with friends from the Coachmen Camping Club, and visited every state in the United States except Hawaii and North Dakota. Franklin was a member of the Allen Lodge 276 of Columbiana, and attended Columbiana Church of the Nazarene.

Franklin leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Sandra (Raymond) Sell; grandsons Bradley (Ashley) and Gregory (Amber) Sell, all of Columbiana; great-grandchildren Annabelle , Dawson, Winnifred and Roxlyn (and one on the way); a sister Florence Hyre and friend Mary Ella.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wanda, who passed away August 8, 2016, his brothers Albert, Art and French Pierson, sisters Edith Brannon, Elsie Heafke, Dora Rose and Ruby Padula, and his granddaughter Amanda.

A celebration of a life well lived has already been shared by the family at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana with Pastor Jan Winnale officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made in Franklin's memory to Columbiana Nazarene Church, 330 N. Elm St, Columbiana, OH 44408.
