Janice Kathryn (Gray) Deibel

“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."

Janice Kathryn Deibel, 78, passed away on March 16, 2025. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought love, warmth, and kindness to all who knew her.

Janice was a fantastic cook who found joy in preparing meals for her loved ones, and an avid reader who cherished the stories and knowledge found in books. She had a sharp wit and an infectious laugh, which brightened the lives of everyone around her. She would always say, "If you don't laugh, you will cry," a testament to her ability to find humor in even the most difficult times. She especially adored and doted on her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Renze; her daughter, Andrea Handyside (Evan); her grandchildren, Rowan and Adelinde Handyside; her sisters, Linda Lawless (David d.2010), Donna Perry (Edward), and Susan Graft (Fred); and her brother, Edward Gray (Suzanne). She was preceded in death by her brother, James Gray (Lola).

Janice leaves behind many other family members and friends who will deeply miss her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Calling hours will be held at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana on Thursday, March 20, from 5–7 p.m. Funeral services will take place at Paradise Church, 10020 New Buffalo Road in Canfield on Friday, March 21, at 11 a.m., a calling hour precedes services from 10–11 a.m.
