Judith 'Judy' McGinnis

NORTH LIMA – Judith ‘Judy’ McGinnis, 85, passed away at her home in North Lima Sunday evening, March 2, 2025.

Judy was born on March 2, 1940, in Marienville, PA, a daughter of Fredrick Shaw and Elizabeth Geneieve (Cunningham) Haslett.  A Monaca, PA, high school graduate, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She married Leonard ‘Lenny’ McGinnis on March 26, 1959.

Judy leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons James McGinnis of Ormond Beach, FL, and Thomas (Nora) McGinnis of Chagrin Falls, and grandchildren Alec, Emily and Ben.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lenny, who passed away June 3, 2022, and her siblings Betsy Jean Labasik (David), William Frederick Haslett (Barbara), Thomas Earl Haslett and Nancy Sophia FIgley (Joseph).

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 7:00pm at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 6:00pm until the time of the service at 7:00pm at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at Green Haven Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 11:00 am.
