Marsha A. (Segesman) Barnhouse - Gordon

 Columbiana, OH –Marsha A. Barnhouse- Gordon, 76, of Columbiana, OH, passed away at Parkside Health Care in Columbiana on Sunday, August 24, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

 She was born March 20, 1949, in Salem, a daughter of Robert and Betty (Gano) Segesman. Marsha married her late husband Larry Barnhouse in 1974.

Marsha was a devoted homemaker. She later worked in the office of Sheely's Furniture in North Lima and sold Avon.  Her love for others was evident in her volunteer work, particularly as a Chaplain for the American Legion Auxiliary Post 290 in Columbiana, and as a compassionate volunteer for Columbiana Area Meals on Wheels.

Marsha is survived by her son, Brett (Madeline) Barnhouse, and her daughter, Gretchen Barnhouse. She leaves stepchildren Justin (Laura) Gordon and Erica Guerrier-Gordon; six step-grandchildren; sisters, Robin Woods and Vickie (Jim) Wagner; and was a proud aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Marsha's memory to Columbiana Area Meals on Wheels, 865 E. Park Ave., Columbiana, OH 44408, or to American Legion Post 290, 44403 St Rt 14, Columbiana, OH 44408, as a tribute to her lifelong dedication to helping others.
