SALEM- Myrna McLaughlin, 81, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 11, 2018 at Salem Community Hospital with her family at her side.
Myrna was born on July 25, 1936 in East Palestine, a daughter of William and Letha (Macklin) Dalrymple. She graduated from Leetonia High School and was the Homecoming Queen. Myrna was a member of Greenford Lutheran Church. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan, cheering on the Cavaliers, Indians and Browns. She also enjoyed making ceramics, crocheting and sewing.
Myrna married Andrew McLaughlin Jr. on June 23, 1957.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her daughter, Tammie S. (Dan) Kandray of Massillon; her son, Randy J. (Priscilla) McLaughlin of Columbiana; five grandchildren, Dan Jr. (Alli), Ian, Sydney, Candi (Wayne), and Larry; great-grandson Wayne Jr. and sister Mary Jane Morrow of Greenford.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents William and Letha Dalrymple and her husband Andrew.
Memorial services will be held at Green Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3495 S. Canfield – Niles Rd., Canfield on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 11:00 am officiated by Pastor Kari Lankford.
