LISBON – William Esterly, 75, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 31, 2025, at his home in Lisbon.
William was born on March 11, 1950, in Salem, a son of Edgar and Dorothy Esterly. A 1968 graduate of Crestview High School, his love of cars led him at the age of 13 to work for Mike Mecure at Midway Motors. He retired in 2020 from D.W. Dickey as fleet maintenance manager.
William leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Becky Parks, whom he married on August 30, 1969; two sons Dave (Rachael) and Michael (Danielle) Esterly; brother Paul (Linda) Esterly; three grandchildren, Alex Esterly, Natalie (Jason) Smith, and Levi (Ivy) Esterly; and great grandson Grayson.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son Douglas Esterly and sister Dorothy Gilkinson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana.
