My sympathies to all members of the family of Dolores. Especially Linda, Dave and Kerry McCamon. As one of the very lucky quilters who got to go on 3 retreats to Holden Beach, I marveled that anyone would want to cook for everyone while we were there. Some tried to volunteer to help Dolores, but she would just shoo us away and say we were to enjoy our quilting and being at the retreat. The meals we had were very good and I don't remember ever having anything that I didn't like. She helped to put on some fun parties too! She wanted us to have a fun, relaxing time. What a sweet, selfless woman. I'm sure she will be missed very much by her children and their families. Love and sympathy, Pat Patterson

My condolence for the loss of Dolores. My wife, Delight (Arkwright), Bill's niece, died April 20th of last year, so I know of your suffering. Dolores was a worker, with a cherry disposition. I remember her well, and reflect on a comment she made to me when I was going through prostate cancer treatment. She was pretty much on the mark! I know that she appreciated what was written in her Bible at John 5:28, 29., and I, and many others, have found much comfort in the promise Jesus made there.
