Mark Beck

Funeral Director/Owner

Mark Beck is the son of Dorothy and the late John Beck of Canfield. His wife is the former Jill Orr, daughter of the late Mr. Harold B. Orr and Olive Orr of Columbiana. They have two daughters Heidi and Heather. Mark has been associated with the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Homes since 1973. Mark is a 1975 graduate of South Range High School, he attended Youngstown State University in 1976 and 1977, and became an Ohio licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1980 after completing his education at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. In 1983 Mark and Jill purchased stock in the funeral homes. In 1990 they purchased the Columbiana Funeral Home, and in 1998 they purchased the North Lima Funeral Home and became sole owners and operators of both the Columbiana and North Lima Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Homes. Mr. Beck has also served as the Vice President and President of the Fairfield Ruritan Club and Vice-President of the Columbiana Library. He is also an active member at the First Christian Church in Columbiana, where he has served as a Deacon and greeter. Currently he is a member of Allen Lodge.
