Anthony "Andy" Shields

DUNDEE - Anthony Wayne "Andy", "Tony" Shields, 42, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 3.

He was born on August 24, 1972 in Gassaway, West Virginia to parents Nora and Glen Shields. He graduated from South Range High School in 1990, and served in the US Army from 1990-2000.

Andy was employed as a manager at Menards in Massillion.

Andy leaves behind his son Robert Anthony Shields of Brewster; his mother Nora Shields of Dalton; three sisters Janet (Jim) Peffer of Medina, Linda (Alan) Yoder of Dalton, and Brenda (Steve) Hanna of Columbiana; five nieces; three nephews and one great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father Glen Shields.

Andy will be loved and missed by many.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima, OH 44452 with Reverend Don Meager officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6 from 5-8 p.m. and also on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests material contributions may be made in Andy's memory to the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center, PO Box 5466, Cleveland, OH, 44101, or the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
